POWSTAR is committed 100% customers satisfaction. We track quality from the very beginning to the very end. Strict inspection is done from the tool design to the tool packing.
1. Material inspection:
QC will make sure only the good quality material is used at Powstar, steel certification will be provided.
a. Tool steel: A2, D2, O1, all with incoming inspection report and certificates
b. Guide bushings/Posts/Gas Springs: Dadco; Retainers/Punches and Buttons: Dayton, all popular and standard in US market
2. Tool Design Inspection:
Tools will be designed fully to Customer's tooling standard and your press specific presses by designers with at least 10 years experiences who know US tools quite well. All tool desigh must be approved by the customer with layout, CAE analysis if needed, 2D/3D tool construction before any work begins in the Powstar workshop.
3. During Tooling Process:
Our technicians are higly trained and skilled in using our state of the art equipment to ensure high precision and quality levels are maintained.
Our staff have many years of experience assembling delicate or intricate components and strict protocolsensure all parts are put together with care and skill.
5. Advanced measuring equipment:
Our professional quality inspectors will guarantee samples correct, by using complete measurement equipments including checking fixture, CMM Detector. After measurement, we will provide quality report. Any parts with any deviation will be rejected and remade till it it 100% to the tool drawing data.
First tryout will be made using required steel material, FAI dimension report and CMM report will be
sent to you together with clear photos, videos of the running tool. For first tryout, we can get 80-90%
OK dimensions to the drawing data. After further trouble shooting and debugging, usually we can get 100% OK parts at second or third tryout.
6. Prior shippment:
Powstar has our own tool static and dynamic inspection, all tools components are tested and checked
to ensure that they pass our quality standards.
